How do I save pictures sent from text message? Im able to long press and get several options to view, forward, call etc, but nothing to save the image. I have clicked to view image and then from there pressed the menu and nothing comes up. Does anyone know how?

I believe yesterday it was determined that this was not a possibility. There's a thread around here somewhere about setting up a picasa account and forwarding things to it to save, but that was the only work around given.

ok tried it. odd results if you forward the mms to gmail you can save the attachment picture if you go to gmail through the web browser but not if you use the app for gmail not sure why but I was able to save a picture message that way.

This is kinda rediculous. Its pretty obvious if someone texts you a picture... you may want to save it. The same goes with Email.
I found that in Gmail you can save attachments. but you cannot save embedded pictures.
And when you MMS to email. you are sending using xxx@tmomail.com which embeds all of its pictures automaticly...
What a mess! Kinda dissapointed even though im enjoying the phone.
I'm also having problems viewing my MMS pictures. I tap them... and then the screen turns black for 10 seconds... and then goes back to the MMS inbox.

I have the same isse with MMS pictures that are recieved from out of TMobile network. I tap on them and get the black screen too. MMS pictures from TMobile numbers seem to open up to view fine, but unfortunately no option to save.
I also agree that this is pretty ridiculous...hopefully this is fixed in the next OTA update. ::crossing fingers::
Thanks everyone for the suggestions.
anyone notice problems sending pictures through MMS? I snapped a pic from the camera, sent it to a friend on another network (verizon, I believe)... had my phone re-size (although it says just re-compress) the image to fit within the MMS limits, and the other party was not able to open the message. Then I took the same image, pulled it off the card, resized it manually and made sure the file was under 92k, put it back on the card, sent it via mms, and it worked.
I really hope this gets looked into, as I cannot send anything via MMS via the camera.

Is there a plan to fix this problem? Because honestly sometimes it does get annoying.
