This really sucks..i dont know if there is a way to do this but i sure as hell cant find it.. You know when someone calls you from a new number or you call some number thats not stored...there isnt a way that you can click on the recent call and store it..you have to write it down then go to contacts and add contacts..that blows..if im wrong please correct me..this is frustrating..same thing with the texts

No it doesnt. Just Put your finger on the number you want saved and hold it there...a window will pop up with options to save etc.
its called a long press
it works all over the place- kinda like a right-click
press and hold, and a menu will appear

Next time you post something like this, you should rephrase it as a question.
Something like...
"Is there a way to store recent calls into my contacts?"

hmmm that didn't work with mine.. everything I tried would just called the person back..
Unfortunately I deleted the number, so I can't try it now..:(

Just hold it until the menu comes up.

I think we need some kind of sticky about possible UI actions in Android.
Long press is one of them.
The menu button is another.
Also scrolling down in a menu for more options is another.

I wish there was a way to see WHEN the person called, and maybe a history of calls from that person. (Yes, I know, like the BlackBerry) I just prefer not having to do math all the time... 13 minutes ago, it's 10:04 right now, so what means I called her at... um... yeah... Even if I were a math wiz, I'd like to know the exact time when the call was placed. It's useful sometimes when dealing with the significant other...
As for saving the contact, and other things in general, why do we need 2 menus? Why can't we have a huge menu with everything you can possibly do on it? That's why I didn't discover the long-press-saving method until much later.
