Has anyone else had this issue?....

I was playing a game on the phone, Coloroid, and then went to go gmail to reply to a few emails, and left the phone alone for little while. when i got an email alert, i went to go back to gmail, and instead of opening gmail, it opened coloroid instead, this was from the alert bar... so i went back to the home screen to try the icon there, and same thing happen, it opened coloroid instead of gmail. all my other apps seemed to be working ok, coloroid opend coloroid, browser opened fine. I restarted the phone and the problem went away.

has anyone see this happen, or something like it?

also, anyone know of a way to close running apps?
