Bluetooth pairing with other devices

I was going to transfer some media and a phone numbers off my very old Motorola V330 phone.

Then it occurred to me I could probably pair my G1 and my old phone via bluetooth rather than having to take the intermediate step of going through the PC.

No such luck. It seems to pair with it OK, but won't connect.

The user guide isn't much help. Only tells you some basic steps to connect a BT headset....nothing else.

Anybody else gotten this to work?

Currently, you can only connect headest via BT with the G1. They are working on some BT updates, but in the meantime, all we get are headsets.

The bluetooth stack was not complete by version 0.9 so Google decided to only include the handsfree profile. Their rationale was that once they went ver 1.0 on the SDK they would have to live with whatever bugs the bluetooth stack had...forever.

Basically, whatever BT stack was in ver 1.0 they could not change without breaking apps later down the road. Once they've completed it, it would be pushed to us via updates.
