Searching the site

OK, I'm fairly new here, but I'm trying to be a good poster and search for threads before I just spew out comments/questions. However, everytime I try to do a search, even on subjects I KNOW I should find <cough "Android" cough>, my search comes up empty. Am I doing something wrong? I'm going up to the text box to the right of the Android Community logo, where it says "Search Android Community", entering in my keywords, and clicking Search.

I have the same problem with the search feature. It seems like you have to go into a category first. But I'm not too sure.

Yeah, what he said.. I don't even know what that other search box is for, never worked for me either.

Thanks for the tip. I also found the other search mechanism within the same thread as well. They really need to remove that OBVIOUS search box (that obviously doesn't work).

the search bar on top is fixed. it search our news archive, forums, and etc
