I was just looking at the members list and there are 92 PAGES of people (of a total of 161) who have registered but never posted anything, so I have 2 questions.

1. Who are all these silent people? while it isn't difficult to sign up I don't understand why they would if they have noting to say, even if it's only 'Hi'

2. Do accounts get bumped off if unused for a certain amount of time, if so what is that time limit.

PS. If you a member of the silent Majority please feeal free to make your first post here.

there were probably a lot of people who signed up for the 9/23 give-a-way that never intended to post.

Actually, numbers really bloomed as the delivery countdown came close. Why i have been attending to it, I don't really know...lol

Personally, I feel proud to be a part of the silent majority. I have been lurking around for weeks just reading the forums and such. I have simply never said anything because all of my questions have been answered. Maybye I will start being more proactive, who knows.

Long time reader, and joined only this week.
Why? Because I had something to say/ask. I generally read everything which gets posted but keep comments to myself. If I have nothing useful to add, then ...

Now, I've received my G1 today via UPS (thanks eBay ;)) so I might ask some things in the near future. If not, then it proves that somebody already had the same issue and got it resolved. With or without AC members contributions.

So, untill the next time I write again.

Cheers,
Charlie

Stericson, Charlie, good to have you on board. Careful, though, once you post, you may never go back.

I, too, am a longtime lurker who just signed up. After all the UPS craziness, I decided my first post would be from my G1. Glad I waited! I love this phone!

It's ok to lurk.

Not everyone's world comes to an screeching halt when a button is pressed and nothing
happens, and people think they should let the world know about it.

A LOT of posts/ers go online and publicize the most basic stuff that can be answered
if they took the time to know the device.

Then you also have your regural post wh0res :D
