By now many of us will have all 3 screens filled or very close... or we may just choose to trash some apps just to keep a cleaner "desktop". Did you know you can create folders on the 3 screens? These folder can contain anything you put on the desktops except for widgets.
1. Go to the desktop you want to create a folder.
2. Press and hold on the touch screen.
3. on the popup window select shortcut -> folder
4. click on the folder on the desktop
5. rename the folder by press and hold on the window title area.
6. drag and drop shortcuts into the folder.
enjoy

Thank you for this great and very useful information. Do you know if there is a way to change the icon for a specific folder? Example- I created a folder named Settings containing alias's to
Display (actually changes default font size)
Sound & Display (the closest I could find to directly access brightness)
Battery Info (the closest I could find to get a quick view of battery life)
I would have included a screen shot of my G1's Home screen but I don't know how to reverse the mirror image created by Apple's Photo Booth app...

That would be a cool add-on... I don't think it can handle it right now.
