Making new icon sets (pics included) have some questions

Making some new icons to share but have a few questions.

Made them 256x256 for use with desktop visualizer, are there any other apps that are popular I should resize them for (kinda new here)?

How do I make an icon pack? Is it just a zip file?

Other apps you'd like icons for?

Ok finally bit the bullet and rooted it so I could get a real screenshot. I'll upload them to the market when I get 100 done. Have about 60 now.
