Question about texting on G1

I just got my G1 and loving it so far. but there's this problem though.. when I text tmobile customers they would receive the text instantaneously, but when i texted at&t it would take a while like a couple of minutes before they said they got it. and i can't receive any of their texts that they sent me... anyone encounter this? or do i have to call tmobile? no idea on what to do.

I've had the same problem before I switched from my Blackberry Curve to my G1! T-mobile friends would get texts right away and non t-mobile would take like 5 mins or so to receive my texts. :confused::confused:

I have had this problem also with T-mobile customers from my blackberry. Sometimes they did not receive it until the next day.
Me-Sending from a blackberry
They-receiving on a Sidekick.
I just chalked it up as some kind of error in the software.

i read on some sites that it takes other networks time to adjust to the tmobile network or something.. so hopefully thats the problem.. since i just got my phone today anyways...

I texted from att to tmo and it was just about instant.

My reply took around 5 minutes. Maybe the only thing att wins over tmo.
