I found this on onlyg1.com (http://www.onlyg1.com/luhopo.html) but Amazon offered it at a better price. I can confirm that the G1 fits nicely into this case. There are no holes in place to accommodate the G1's speaker, but I find that it is not necessary. The phone rings through nicely.

The quality was very, very good. Nice soft leather finish, but rigid enough to protect the phone.

Looks like there is also no space for the charger or head phones to go through either...???

I used to fear magnets as well, but seems like it's not a big problem these days.

This one's not really my style though.. I actually like the included case pretty well, I don't think it will last long, but serves great for me at this point.

No slot for headphones is a biggie for me. I'll be using the invisibleShield until I see some more options to choose from in terms of 'actual' cases.

Yeah, um... why would you need access to the headphone/power jack while it is still in the case? Plan to charge it while you are wearing it on your belt? Also, even with the headphones on, you still couldn't access the touchscreen without pulling the G1 out of the case.

What if listening to mp3s while walking, or doing anything really where you don't want the phone sitting away from you (basically anytime you would use the phone rather than computer or stereo for music?)...

Mp3s generally.. you use a playlist, you set random, you move on with your life, not worrying about damaging your phone in my opinion.

Just not for my personal style. Wish I could find a case I like for that cheap... :(

OK, shuffle makes sense. It would be easy enough to add a hole. It would not undermine the integrity of the case at all.
