My brother decided that it would be funny to slam my phone against something. He carried through with his idea. My touch screen was cracked. I got on the internet and purchased the touch screen part. I spent an hour taking the phone apart delicately and with great care. Took out the old screen, put in the new one, and put all the pieces of the phone back together. I turn on the phone, wait for everything to load, and then the moment of truth is at hand. I take my finger, put it against the screen, slide it, and an app opens up. Basically, when I click on something, it doesn't do as I wanted it to do. It also has a mind of its own. It will click on apps, and drag them or shake them. It is extremely aggravating. Any suggestions? Could it be the phone, a loose cable, the touchscreen may be flawed, anyone?

When replacing the touchscreen you must be sure to use the same type of screen that was use so by using a different screen it will have extra sensitive feed back

I've determined that the screens are the same. I went back in to make sure that all the connections were correct again and now it doesn't respond at all to touch. Do you know of any places that repair touch screens. I know one online that repairs them for $65 (don't know if that includes the $80 they want for the screen. Anyone know HTC's price?
