scrolling through SMS's

so I have sent a few msg's back and forth..
so now i have about 10 people all raging from 2-3 msgs conv to 20.

when i go up and down it lags, scrolls glitchy completely not smooth.

do you guys have the same problem ?

I have about 8 convos with about about 75-100 in each. Not laggy at all. I wish i could search through them by typeing a letter like in my Dash w/ mobile 6 on it....

yea...i commented on it earlier. it is SOOO damn annoying...all the other lists, even a list of 500 pictures scrolls very smooth, yet only the SMS list is jumpy and non responsive...its like wtf.

Yeah mines not laggy at all. When I first got the phone I sent out a mass text to everyone with my new number and the phone ran slow for a lil while when it was sending, but I expected that.

no problem... but do with i could highlight picture folders and a bunch of pictures to delete... kinda sucks haveing to delete every single one by hand... same with e-mails... oh well.

Restart your phone. I bet it wont be laggy anymore. :) Its just that alot of the RAM is being used with all of the programs running. Just Reboot. Its good to turn it off once in a while.

My gf's phone is like this too. Tmobile told her to do a hard reset. Once she got new texts it was still the same problem. Anybody find a solution?

A problem I am having is when I delete a SMS thread that is more than 100 messages, my G1 prompts me to "Force Close" the messaging app. I just select "Wait" and it takes about another 10 seconds.

I constantly delete my threads several times a day. Just quit being lazy and do this from time to time instead of waiting until you get a ton of them.....
And re-booting the phone daily helps until a task closing program is made....
