Hello, I just got my moto droid. I installed a couple apps, and I want to remove the flashlight app. so I touched and stayed on it, and the screen change and at the bottom was a trash bin. so i drag n dropped the app there. and even after turn off and on phone, the app is still there. Any ideas?

you also have to uninstall the app. putting the icon in the trash only deletes the shortcut.

the app drawer is the pull up menu that has all of your apps.

not sure why its not leaving the screen you're doing it right.

try fully uninstalling it. menu settings >applications >uninstall

occasionally my Moment doesn't delete the shortcut icon on the first attempt. uninstalling the app will remove it, tho. however, if u load a widget, uninstalling will leave an "unable to load widget" msg on ur screen until u long click and drag to the trash (just for future reference)
