There is an app in market called "Christmas postcards".
It seems that it is not professional app but pictures very cool and shiny.

Description:
"Send a bright and shiny postcard to your loved ones! Christmas or New Year ones, just pictures or accompanied with your wishes - make your friends smile and remind them of you!"

What do you think about it?

Tried it, couldn't put any text in it. Looks like it has promise, but Christmas is about over.

I'll check it out. But just a thought. Why not make it a "Holiday Postcard" app? That way people are using your app throughout the year. New Years, Valentines Day, St. Patrick's Day, Etc.

I downloaded the app. The images are nice but I'm having a hard time figuring out how to add text. I can move the text box around but I can't get a cursor to enter text. Maybe on the menu have "Add text" so a user can select that from the menu.

I sent a postcard to myself to see what the receiver would get. It would be nice if it really looked like a postcard. Have the actual image itself and then the back of a postcard with a fake stamp, the to and the from address. Just like you're getting a real postcard in the mail.

I also think you should consider adding year round holidays as I mentioned above. That way you have something people can use year round. I think it's a nice start though.
