Just wondering any difference really in the two ? ? ? If you order BodyGuardz I know you get 2 sets for $25. And they have it in stock they can ship it when you order it.

I have never used bodyguardz but invisible shield is really good. I used it for my Blackberry and I have no complaints.

Bodyguardz from what I have seen and heard seem to compare very well.

I would go with the original, Invisible Shield. They have a lifetime warranty too! I got my full body coverage one for 19.95, plus free shipping. Plus, I got a discount on it because I pre-ordered before the release date. :)

Bodyguardz is the clearest of the two. I simply could not stand having that texture on my screen with the InvisibleShield.

Look at comparison vids on youtube and you'll see how the bodyguardz is just a lot more clear and the more "invisible" of the two.

Yea, I had gotten an IS when I had my SK3 and I hated the textured so I know what you are talking about. It was like rough, lamination that irritated me.

I'm going to assume you only purchased protection for the front only. Because that is outrageously cheap for full body protection!!

LMAO! They are all made of the same material... Ghost Armor, Invisishield, Clear Protection, BodyGuardz. They all come w/ a lifetime guarantee, & I ordered mine for $15 on eBay & have had it for 2 weeks now. Good luck everyone.

I just received my invisible shield and it only took about 15-20 min to put it on. I've heard a lot of horror stories about bubbles, but it went on perfectly for me. The touch screen seems just as responsive and is smoother than I expected. I think it looks and feels great. I highly recommend it, it's my favorite accessory I've ordered. Don't waste your money on the snap on cases seen on ebay( the one with the heart on the back) I threw mine away. They're cheap and only painted so you see a white seam around the entire phone. I give invisible shield 5 stars.

I read somewhere on here that the place that sells the Ivisibileshield is having a 40% off sale on Halloween. Waiting till the 31st just for that reason!

i've ordered the Zagg I. Shield...so i'm waiting for it in the mail. Once it shows up...I'll put it on and take pics to show how it looks. I'm just hoping it doesn't lose TOO much smoothness on my screen (i bought some crappy screen protectors and it was like running your finger/body on a dry slip 'n slide....not good). I need the screen to slide smoothly...and i'd rather not have to pull out my anal lube each time to use it. Er....disregard that last bit.

Pretty much yeah. Left slight marks on my g1 but they were removed easily with some standard lcd cleaning stuff and a lint free cloth.

I tried it (Zagg Invisible Shield), didn't like it at all. The squeegee seemed to make marks all over the main bit that goes on the screen (like faint scratches - visible at an angle with a light shining on the screen), there were several bubbles i couldn't get rid of near the corners on the big back piece, and it generally looked rubbish. Possibly i just suck at applying it, but it didn't look nice at all.. what's the point in having it scratch resistant if it looks worse than it would scratched?

Also, no matter how well you apply it it'll still feel the same - it's like a sticky cheap plastic feeling. Made my G1 look and feel like a toy, i didn't like it.

I'm going to look into finding something better to cover the screen only (which is the only part i really care about being scratch free anyway to be honest).

No matter what, if the edges aren't perfect (hangs for just a little bit), or you used the squeegie slight wrong (stretch the thing and make it hang over the edge/ or other pieces!) you're gonna get dirt/lint trapped in there. After that the loose parts flaps around like cardboard openning flaps - just annoying and in the way and if you pull on it, you'll ruin the perfect parts. If you cut it, then you expose more area to catch lint, then more of it will feel crappy; the cycle continues.

In the end, it'll make you're phone feel like crap in the hand but maybe... just maybe, in two weeks when take it off. You will appreciate the solid feel it originally had.

NOTE: Putting the full body back on. Worth keeping this phone in good shape. Touch screen + qwerty board + scrol ball? This phone won't be 'obselete' for a while until the next network technology upgrade or something.

I searched for bodyguardz vs invisibleSHIELD comparison and got mixed reviews:

Pro InvisibleSHIELD:
AndroidCommunity (http://androidcommunity.com/forums/f13/invisibleshield-vs-bodyguardz-2729/)
Zagg compilation (http://www.zagg.com/community/reviews.php)

Pro Bodyguardz:
TreoCentral (http://www.treocentral.com/content/Stories/1787-1.htm), but note they may be biased because they sell Bodyguardz and don't sell invisibleSHIELD.
Bodyguards compilation (http://www.bodyguardz.com/testimonials_s/18.htm)

iLounge Rankings:
1. FullBodyFilms (http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/reviews/entry/fullbodyfilms-protection-pack-for-iphone-3g/) Score of A- (http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/reviews/entry/fullbodyfilms-protection-pack-for-iphone-3g/) (lower price $17, anti-glare, resists finger prints)
2. Bodyguardz. (http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/reviews/entry/nlu-products-bodyguardz-for-iphone/) Score of B+ (http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/reviews/entry/nlu-products-bodyguardz-for-iphone/) (more expensive $25 price but comes with 2 films in case there is a problem with first installation)
3. invisibleSHIELD (http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/reviews/entry/shieldzone-invisibleshield-full-body-shield-for-apple-iphone/). Score of B+ (http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/reviews/entry/shieldzone-invisibleshield-full-body-shield-for-apple-iphone/) (not as smooth but more complete coverage on corners)

I like the PROS/CONS for invisibleSHIELD in the JustAnotherIphoneBlog (http://justanotheriphoneblog.com/wordpress/2008/03/07/review-full-body-invisibleshield-for-iphone) and AppleiPhoneReview (http://www.appleiphonereview.com/reviews/iphone-invisibleshield-review/):
Pros:
* Keys, Razor Blades, Pens, Pockets … you name it, you don’t have to fear it.
* Lifetime Warranty. 30 Day Money Back.
* Peace of mind.
* “Grippy” - compared to the slickness of the sides on the iPhone itself, I’m a lot less worried about the iPhone sliding out of my hands.
* Makes smudges less visible
* Conforms well to iPhone; hardly noticeable
* Adds no bulk to your phone

Cons:
* Installation/Application is a pain
* Looong dry time
* Orange Peel looks, Reflectivity of the screen, “grabby” feel if you’re a fingernail slider.
* Hard to keep out lint
* A little pricey at $25 for front & back films

I also did a search for Discount Codes:
invisibleSHIELD
* Retailmenot (http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=3&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.retailmenot.com%2Fview%2Fshie ldzone.com&ei=rjK3ScP_LobPkAXqq9DZCQ&usg=AFQjCNEr__MLP6EeSMQ-qTWNZz1lql5k9A&sig2=i2ctlnbCdi3zst4xwDWzWg) (20% off discount codes)
* Remember you buy 3 or more items you get 30% off
* all ZAGG products get free shipping
* Merchant Circle (http://www.merchantcircle.com/blogs/Invisible.Shield.801-263-0699) codes
* Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Invisible-Shield-by-ZAGG/49243704543) has daily (M-F) discount codes over 20% off in the notes section

Bodyguardz
* Retailmenot (http://www.retailmenot.com/view/bodyguardz.com) (apparently no codes now)
* tjoos (http://www.tjoos.com/Coupon/99851/bodyguardz.com) (not sure if it works)

I think it is a toss-up between Bodyguardz and invisibleSHIELD, but getting 20%+ off of invisibleSHIELD and free shipping makes me lean towards invisibleSHIELD
