Hey guys, I can't seem to get my MMS to work on the HTC Hero in Tmo USA. I can't send or receive picture messages. I've done this before using the Sony K800i and it was a breeze. Can someone show me their MMS settings (apn, proxies, etc)? Thanks in advance.

Hey man, give this a shot. it's an OTA settings configuration thing from tmobile.

That's a really useful link. However, I can't find the Mytouch 3G (I figured I'd use their settings since the interface and whatnot are exactly the same as the Hero) in either the HTC or Tmobile as 'manufacturer'.

Do you have a data plan? The MMS won't work without a data plan. Many have tried and failed...

Yeah I do have a data plan. EDGE on the Hero isn't as bad as I thought too :]

So I figured it out. Here's the settings just in case anyone is having the same trouble:
Name: Internet [entirely up to you]
APN: internet2.voicestream.com [for MyTouch, use epc.tmobile.com]
Proxy: <not set>
Port:<not set>
Username:<not set>
Password:<not set>
Server:<not set>
MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
MMS proxy:<not set>
MMS port:<not set>
MMS protocol: WAP 2.0
MCC: 310
MNC: 260
APN type: <not set>
This setting allows you to use EDGE on Tmobile (if you have a data plan) and allows you to send/receive picture messages.
epc is faster than internet2 on my part, the bookmarks on my HERO loads slow on internet2.
Oh and the USERNAME and PASSWORD you must type in none.

This did not allow me to send or recieve MMS.
This one
Name: T-Mobile US
APN: epc.tmobile.com
Proxy: 216.155.165.050
Port: 8080
Username: <not set>
Password: <not set>
Server: <not set>
MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
MMS Proxy: 216.155.165.050
MMS Port: 8080
MMS Protocol: WAP 2.0 (don't know if this is important)
MCC: 310
MNC: 260
APN Type: (leave this blank)
Allowed me to receive MMS but not send it.. so I am unsure what to do now.. I do not have a data plan or do i plan to purchase one because I am always around Wi-Fi.. but I do need my MMS to work.
