Last week I had to send in my Hero because the LED's didn't work anymore (next to some other known problems)
A few days ago the returned my phone, repaired, and with the new Firmware.
my question. Before the rom update (and before it was broken) the top LED blinked with a missed call, received SMS or received mail...the trackball sometimes blinked but didn't do anything most of the time.
Now only the trackball lights up with a missed call, received SMS or received mail.....but only for 10 minutes. After these 10 minutes there no more notification. I've gone through all the settings but couldn't find anything to make the trackball notify me a bit longer than 10 minutes. Did I miss an option? b.t.w. the top LED only lights up while charging.
