PF Voicemail Help! Unknown phone number!!

I downloaded Phone Fusion Visual Voicemail app to my G1. Its an interactive application that displays a list of your voicemail messages which you can also organize via touchscreen, rather than having to call your voicemail number and listening to the automated operator and press buttons. As part of the registration process you must enter in your cell number (Its either your cell number or your voicemail number, I cant get it to work so I dont know for sure.)

Whenever I type in my number a notification pops up that says, "! Registration Failed. Unable to determine this devices phone number."
Now I went to my Settings/ About Phone/ Status/ My phone number...all that was listed under "my phone number" was "unknown". As of right now I dont see an option to edit this status. If anyone has any suggestions or a way to fix this dilemma so I can continue to have fun with my beloved G1 it would be greatly appreciated. Please Help!

the type of contract your on with t-mobile

if your on "flexpay" forwarding is disabled therefore you cant use any of the visual voicemail apps on the market besides the app by t-mobile

well how can i fix it?? where can I find out about my flexpay and if its disabled? please give me detailed instructions, or where i can find detailed instructions. thank you.

dial 611 and ask t-mobile.

Actually I'm having the exact same problem in context of another application, but I already know I'm on easy pay which I have been told is preferred by a rep.

Just called in. Common problem. They'll send you a text to your sim card to give it the phone number, then you open it, delete it, turn it off, and on again. If it still doesn't work or the text doesn't come through, you reset to factory settings. Download Astro file manager to save apps to the sim card and your contacts will be connected to the email account.
