There's an app in the market now that will back up all your google apps. It's called systen app backup or system app backupper.

I've been looking for this app but can't find it on the marketplace. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks

I just did a wipe on my phone and reintalled exp rom from cyan... i dont remember how i got the htc ime to work and the suggestions to show down below when using the physical keyboards...

Any help?

Guys, how stable is 4.1.11.1, really? And how fast? Is it worth me going to this from 4.0.4? I've been debating it, since it might be a while before the next Cyan ROM etc....Would you say 4.1.11.1 is 99% stable? Are there any major bugs or flaws with it?

i would love to help . but im busy enough at work and helping here right now :)
maybe later if i get a chance . you would need cyanogens theme template for 4.1.11.1 . that should give you a clue of what to look for .

I have had issues for the past week been on 4.1.11.1 for a while. I was getting disappearing icons when I would go back to the home screen a reboot fixes it but it started occurring more and more times a day. I don't know if its theme releted then I switched themes and it still happens. Kind of sucks. Don't know what to do about it.

1st question , did you wipe ? i had that on 4.1.10 , not once on 4.1.11.1

OK guys, I'm going to need some help.

Here's what I did.

from a stable 4.0.4
made nandroid backup

installed 4.1.11.1
had problems with force closes, so I ran the fix permissions script located here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=522935)

it didn't solve my problems, so I wiped. Still didn't solve my problems so I thought I'd just roll back to 4.0.4 via the nandroid backup

but, I tried to do this and it didn't work. It boots up, but I just get a completely black screen, and the notification bar. I can't get to the home screen, or access any applications.

I tried wiping to a clean 4.0.4, and it boots up, with most of the apps still there because they are on the SD. But I don't have any way of restoring my data.

Can I restore my data manually by pulling some of the files from within the nandroid backup folder? If so, how do I do this? I don't really know much about adb or fastboot.

If anyone could help it would be GREATLY appreciated.

think moonspoon said he was waiting for 4.1.2 to be sorted to update the theme, the theme for 4.1.10.1 on xda works fine with 4.1.11.1 in the meantime.

I seem to have lost the "clear" button in the notifications pull down window. Im running Cyanogens 4.1.11.1 with a strikeforce theme. Does anyone know how to fix this?

The audio hack app was updated to be donut compatable . It works with cyans 4.1.11.1 . I use it :)

honestly, i cant remember where I read it, but i thought that Cyanogen had made some sort of audio improvement that was included with his ROM. I may have been mistaken and read it wrong. If anyone can tell me the name of the actual app, I'd apreciate it :) Sitting here searching Market and not finding it :(

Checked volume, and restarted phone, and could still barley here "in call" audio. Then tried again an hour or so later, and it was working fine again, and has been ever since. Guess Ill just be glad it is working now!

I read a bit back about the home screen coming up empty and not having any of the short cuts from time to time on this ROM. The only way to fix it then was to reboot. I have had this happen 4 times today on a mt3g and was wondering if there was any better fix. (I have already ran the fix permission script in the console and the fix file ext from the recovery and reflashed the ROM).
