Need Help, To Set Up A Wireless Network

Okay I Have The Newest iMac And I Have A Wireless Router Connected To It, Not The Apple One But A Regular PC One, The Internet Works On It Fine But I Want To Set Up A Wireless Connection For My Laptop, A PC, That Has A Built In Wireless Card, I Don't Know The Name For It Specifically, And I Feel Like A Noob Asking But Does Someone Know How To Do This Or Can You Help Me Out With This?

Not sure on a mac, but on a pc you click on network connections and it brings up any wireless connections with in range and there names. Does the mac have anything similar to network connections? You will probably need the password to connect also, unless it's an unsecure connection.

No It's Like Way Different On A Mac That's Why I Need Help. The Wireless Router Sends Out The Wireless Signal Because My Mac Picks It Up But My Laptop Doesn't. (Thanks For The Help Though)
