i love the g1 design but lately ive noticed all the android phones by htc are becoming only touch screen but i would love to see the the g1 vs 2 it would be cool. htc will most likely announce it in 2010 which is good because thats when my contract ends.

I guess you mean version 2. I think it would be nice if they periodically kept it in style. I like my g1 but its specs aren't that spectacular and a new release of the g1 with a bigger Ram and more interall memory on top of a kick ass battery.
Thats what I want to see.
And No I dgaf about it having multi touch, sorry guys.

You mean like a reformed version of the g1?.
That would be good only if they added what the people want.;
-multitouch capabilities [some people want it]
-loooooonger battery life [the mytouch MURKS this battery]
-wayyy more internal memory
-apps off sd capabilities
-bluetooth file send/receive [w/o rooting and buying an app]
-zooming w/ the camera [+ added effects like snap photo (pro)]
-louder speaker [for calls]
-harder vibrate [I can't feel a THING..whenever its on my hip]

Hensley, check out ...Androbex and see if this is a better solution to rooting for file sharing via bluetooth and paying for an app.
And we run into each other a lot hello hello!

I definitely think the keyboard is here to stay. The Mytouch and Hero are just ways to expand the Android brand. The keyboard gives a great alternative to that fruit phone and also is a HUGE help to open sourcing. HTC is the leader in smartphones and they have ALWAYS offered a line with hard keyboards, I doubt they'd stop now cause if it ain't broke don't fix it.
