View Full Version : Unlimited family Text = discount on Data?

I heard many people were able to get a $5-10 discount on their data plan if they have a family messaging plan. I called a few times and every time I do they always said they couldn't do anything. Anyone got any tips for getting it the discount? Or should I just wait till we get the phone to try again? :mad:

well you could have got the $25 plan and if you have the unlimited family texts you wouldnt need to get the $35 one.

Well what it is, is that you really have to say something, be like , well its stupid that i have to pay 60 bucks for unlimited data and text for 2 plans, when its only 20 bucks for like 2 people unlimited text's, and then like say 25 bucks for tha sata.

Talk to a manager or their supervisor or something lol

Better still get the basic $19.99 data plan together with the unlimited family plan.

i dont think the $19.99 is unlimited but i assume it would work, hes our inside man so im sure hes not lying.

When I called today, they said the $20 plan wouldn't work on the G1, I wonder if thats true...

Sometimes they dont know, or they dont know how to set up you acount like that, talk to a supervisor next time they tell you no.
