What are you going to do once you get your G1?

After you fully charge or while charging, what are you going to do with your phone?

Call a friend to brag?
Instant a message to brag?
Come on the forums to brag?
Surf the net and brag?
Anything that wouldn't involve bragging?
Joining a community meet up to brag as a whole?

Personally, I'm going to come on the forums and do a quick post that I've finally got the phone, while doing this at a Starbucks (it has a hotspot). After that the possibilities are endless :D

browse the wealth of features on the phone and discover shortcuts... mess with it until i find a bug, and then report it... install a few apps, then play with my 3g connection as long as i can stay awake

Since I am not with T-mobile yet, I have to wait till Nov. probably after ordering Oct.22. By then, won't feel like bragging :(

Set my alarm with a couple of follow up alarms as I know I'll be up late that night! When I get a new phone my OCD kicks in and I need to have everything set up just like my old phone, contacts, alarms, background/colors, all applications set in a specific order etc.... Then my ADD kicks in right in the middle I'll probably pull down every application available with some browsing and some SMS and IM's. After everything is said and done I'll probably find every product in my house with a SKU so I can scan it and see where else I can find it.

Definitely no bragging, just not my style (edited-missxoash) Seeing if it can do the basic and cool stuff my Wing can do, probably change that wallpaper and get rid of that clock (or make some sort of adjustment there). I'll probably just test things out, test the camera, test sending messages, making calls, pairing bluetooth, figuring out what pockets it fits into on my jeans, cruise the app store and download some apps.

At some point I'll connect it to my PC and load up the mp3 and .wav ringtones and alarms I love.

I'll also go through the preinstalled software, searching for any T-Mo crap that got pre-installed that I know I don't want. HOPEFULLY, there won't be anything besides the lame ringers, wallpapers, and MyFaves stuff. I can deal with that stuff.

lets see.... go online to AC and write "got mine" (after charging of course) then make a couple calls just to see how clear it is followed by text, mms, IM's, emails and pretty much every feature i find as i search through the phone

oh yea i forgot, the first thing before even charging is put a protective screen on the touch screen!

I already booked half my day off as my local T-Mobile store (right across from my apartment) opens at 10AM. I will probably charge it and start playing around with it. I will log into AC And join everyone else that has already received theirs.

I will then go into work in the afternoon and show it off to all my co-workers. They must be tired of hearing about it by now :)

I'm going to come home from work as soon as UPS drops it off, take it back to work with me charge it, then ill play with the settings see where i can customize it...then i'm going to download some apps from the store and see if i can get my G1 to locate HaRLeYQuiNN's G1 so we can talk about how awesome our new phones are!
