G1 Virgin--Tried all ATT VPN settings, still no EDGE :(

Still I get no connection to the EDGE network. Help a newbie out please.

Ok I got it fixed. Turns out if you are coming from an iPhone (mine was stolen) you actually need to call ATT and give them the IMEI number of the G1 and the SIM card number. Everything works fine now, hope it helps someone.
