TMobile still sending better batteries?

I remember a little while ago reading something about tmobile sending batteries if you call and bitch and whine to them.
Do they still do this?

Thinking if i should call or not since carrying a charger with me became a necessity

All you can do is try, they might tell you to call HTC instead.

Make sure you talk to a Android/Google Tech and not a T-mobile CS

Just got off the phone with the G1 department. Described my issues to the rep and she decided to send me another battery. Not sure what its going to be. I had two shipping options. Free which takes longer or something like express that will get to me much faster.
I was told there is no need for me to send the old battery back.

I forgot to mention that I have two g1's on the plan and i only requested battery for one number and not two, both phones have the same issues.

Going to have to call back again.

AFAIK, T-Mobile was/is simply sending the same OEM battery, no higher capacity.

Won't hurt to have 2 batteries, maybe now i wont have to carry around the charger with me all day.

There are some sellers on Ebay sending double capacity batteries.
