View Full Version : Sounds not ...sounding?

Lots of times my SD card isnt picked up, But thats not what Im posting for-


On occassion my ring tone wont sound, So I decided it must be from my sd card not being read. So I made my rington & Notification tone ones that came on the phone. And still, Sometimes they dont sound.
And before anyone asks, YES Im sure my ringer was on & Not just on vibrate or silent.


Also, On multiple occassions my alarm wont go off. It will sometimes vibrate like it should, But other times I wake up & The alarm notification is on the screen but no sound or vibration..
Is anyone experiencing the same thing, Or anything similar?
Any suggestions on what I should try?

I had the same issue with the alarm not sounding at times, I was late to work 3-4 times because of it. Never found a fix, I ended up installing Klaxon alarm clock and have not had an issue with the alarm since.

Klaxon > Default alarm

But still ocassionally notifications (typically from sms/mms) decide not to sound. Default or otherwise... and when I go in SMSpop and hit "Test Notification" I will see the pop up but the sound wont go off. I have to reboot. Sound seems to stop working on notifications after 6 - 10 hours of having the phone on without a reboot. Typically I reboot twice a day to get stuff back on track. Which is annoying since it takes the phone 3 years to reboot.

Sooo, I think what Im just going to do is just reboot my phone every so often . Maybe every night before bed?

I had the same issue but it turned out to be an app I had installed but for the life of me, I cannot remember which one it was.
It sucks that you would have to restart every night.

I'm having the same problem. Randomly, I wont get SMS notification sounds. I have no SMS apps installed at the moment either. I'm thinking about returning my phone. What's the point of getting texts I don't know about.
