I got this following e-mail last night, unsolicited. I wanted to warn other g1 users since this was my gmail account and the first scam/spam ever to pass the trash and land in the inbox. I opened the link on the g1 only and it's under maintenance sign site, now I'm positive it's a scam. There was also a pdf download link that I removed from this thread. Maybe this is no big deal but I take pride in catching my first scam other then the regular nigerian/lotto crap.

I found that I had "subscribed" to a service ($9/mo) which was added directly to my TMo bill... and I have no idea how. TMo pointed it out (when I called about unrelated issue), said this crap is hapopening all the time. They nuked it for me. Sometimes, say they, if you get a ring tone (etc.) sent to your number, the "sign you up" for a service.
