Anyone using Chrome having problems with iGoogle today? Around noon CST, I started getting an "Authentication Required" popup, that says https://www.google.com/accounts requires a username and password" and then it pops up 5 or 6 more times. I can completely go around it, and even access my Gmail, but it isnt happening in FF or (ack) IE, so I'm just wondering why it Google siblings not playing well in the sandbox today?

(Really, I'm just wondering if anyone else has run into it, or if I should do a quick wipe/reload, hahaha!)

FF FTW.
Chrome is too much of an infant.

I really like it... a lot. And it was hard to get me to leave FF, because I'm one of those dreaded Add-On freaks.

But I was having to uninstall/reinstall so much because I always had too much junk, and it loaded so SLOOOOW... all the time...

I mainly like Chrome because it has only crashed on me one time since I started using it back in October or whenever it came out.... and the tabs run seperate processes so if one thing is lagging, it doesnt kill your entire browser session. Because of that though, it does eat up RAM, so thats why a lot of ppl won't use it.

Anyways, I guess I'm in the minority, using Chrome.. so no worries. I'll use FF til it quits :D

I've been trying to use the new IE only because it works well with OWA(outlook web access) for my exchange mails and since I got V.isual S.tudio installed, the damn thing keeps crashing and throwing me into the debugger. Talk about kids not getting along there...

I didn't know this, a huge +1

Omg, the status bar appears and moves out of the way when you hover over it, I thought at first: why da eff are you moving. This is a win.

So how do I transfer my FF bookmarks ?

I love chrome, you can pull a tab from the top and make it its own window and then throw it back in there. Shows my top 9 web pages which is awsome, because i can go through all of my forums and email in like 2 seconds. It still needs some work but its my default

So how do I transfer my FF bookmarks ?

GBK - open a new tab, hit the wrench on the tool bar (far right) and you will see Import Bookmarks.... it then gives you a drop down for IE or FF.

Thanks Dixie and TheOneGnat.
I think I have selective seeing (selective hearing, akakakak).

I swear this is what I seeing when I get an unexpected pop up and lose all hope.

For Chrome: The search engines broke for me, I couldn't find how to enable "middle click scroll". Is there a solution or is it a WIP?

I love Chrome for the most part. There's only a few times that I've gotten frustrated with it. I love how it can remember pw's and usernames and it auto fills them in when you get to the page.

And Jrbourque898, that's awesome, i didn't know that! Guess I still have a lot of learning to do about Chrome. I also didn't know that each tab runs as a separate process, that's def a bonus.
