A collection of open source sample applications that demonstrate features of the Android platform:


AndroidGlobalTime: a full representation of the Earth that you can spin around.



DivideAndConquer: a game in which you must isolate bouncing balls by creating walls around them.



Samples: miscellaneous examples showing features of the Android platform (among which OpenGL ES).



Translate: translates more than 150 language pairs with Google's translation service.



WebViewDemo: how Java and JavaScript can call each other inside a WebView.



WikiNotes: A wiki note pad that uses intents to navigate to wiki words and other rich content stored in the notes.

If you didn't see it in another thread, I just mentioned that someone needs to make a Google Translate app.

i'm glad that there are versions of these apps being made exclusively for android...so you know they'll run well on it

It's amazing how fast the Android OS is expanding... its blowing up so quickly... an IPHONE killer with out a doubt. now we have other company's now wanting to put the Android OS on there phones... have you seen any company's try and put the Iphone OS on any of there phones? I DONT THINK SO!!! MUAHAHAH ONCE AGAIN IPHONE TAKE THAT!!!!!! LOL :p

good find... theres alot of new stuff coming to android... most of the widgets and mini google apps that area available on the google code page, and on igoogle from web browser look very familiar to some of the stuff that we already have or will have in the future..
