T-mobile coverage...4G when and implications?

So I read today like many others about the big announcment Sprint will make here in Charm City on 10/8 about their WIMAX product. T-mo 3G map for our local is pretty sketchy.

Give me some 101 on T-mo, 4G and Android

Android rocks.
You won't see T-Mobile 4G for quite a while, they aren't even finished with the 3G launch and there hasn't been any official statements.

by the time tmo has 4g, google will have taken over unused tv spectrums and give us all free wifi.
