Just for some comparison, I use bit torrent pretty much all the time.

I used about 45GB worth of upload and 40GB of download for the entirety of October (this info is from my outer so it includes all traffic on my home network that consists of two desktops, and 3 laptops). I don't know what kinds of habits you would have to hit the 10GB mark on the G1 but I can't imagine it would actually be easy to do.
