Despite the proliferation of copycats and other similar games, the Final Fantasy series still remains one of the most popular game franchises in the history of gaming and now mobile gaming. When Android devices started becoming more high tech, the makers of the series Square Enix finally brought the game to mobile devices other than mobile game consoles). And now, it’s bringing all four available games to the Amazon Fire TV viewing device and micro console. Plus, the games will be on sale through the Amazon Appstore.

If you’ve already previously bought any of the Final Fantasy games and have been enjoying it on your Android device, now you can also play it while streaming to your Amazon Fire TV (if you have one of course). All you need to do is update your game or games to the latest version and the compatibility to the bigger device will then be added. Final Fantasy III and IV for the Fire TV are based on the 3D remakes of the original Nintendo DS games while Final Fantasy V and VI have been completely remade specifically for Android devices.

If you haven’t downloaded any of the games, you’re still in luck because to celebrate the Amazon Fire TV release, you’ll also get a special treat. The games are scheduled to go on sale, one week each title, at 50% off, only through the Amazon Appstore.

● FINAL FANTASY III – $15.99 ⇒ $7.99 (from Oct. 29 – Nov. 5, 2015)
● FINAL FANTASY IV – $15.99 ⇒ $7.99 (from Nov. 5 – Nov. 12, 2015)
● FINAL FANTASY V – $15.99 ⇒ $7.99 (from Nov. 12 – Nov. 19, 2015)
● FINAL FANTASY VI – $15.99 ⇒ $7.99 (from Nov. 19 – Nov. 26, 2015)

If you’ve missed playing the game, now is your chance to have it on your mobile device too at a reduced price. But remember, the discount only applies if you buy it through the Amazon Appstore, and not on the Google Play Store.
