evi Group, which is headquartered in Nancy, France, is planning to bring to the public, an Android-based MID; the eviGroup Wallet. eviGroup’s CEO, Nicolas Ruiz has confirmed that the Android MID might make its official appearance as early as next January.

The upcoming Android-based MID has a 5-inch 800 x 480 WVGA touchscreen, with GPS, WiFi b/g and integrated 3G. The device was originally scheduled to arrive in France this month, but apparently, the process is proving to be a little harder than expected.

Apparently, this new MID is ready for “initial production” with suppliers for ARM chipsets, and will have a front facing camera, as you can see in the image above. Is not a surprise that eviGroup are not having a walk in the park getting this new device off the ground. But let’s hope they soon bring a cheap MID to our hands.
