Evernote is already a popular note-taking application on other platforms; Windows, Mac, BlackBerry, and according to the iPhone and iPod Touch owners is impressive. On a personal note, I can say that it is also impressive on the Palm Pre, since I been using it for a little over six months on my webOS smartphone, and now, I can’t wait to use it on Android!

With Evernote, you can basically take notes, tag them and put them in virtual notebooks, easy, isn’t it? And now, those who have an Android phone will be able to enjoy this application. This new release brings location-awareness as well as other useful features like optionally geotagging every note.

As mentioned before, downloading the app is free, and also an Evernote account is free, but there’s also a premium option. The premium service goes from $5 a month, to $45 a year, and it gives you up to 500MB a month in uploads.
