The European Imaging and Sound Association or EISA has released the awardees of its famed European EISA Awards. And dominating the Mobile Devices category are not one or two, but four Android devices out of six mobile devices in total.

The EISA started way back in 1982 with five editor-in-chiefs from five European photo magazines. It has now grown to include 50 special interest magazines from 20 European countries. It is known for its annual awards, where EISA members vote in June for the best products featured in their magazines in various categories such as Audio, Video, Photo, Home Theater, In-Car Electronics, and Mobile Devices.

The HTC One bagged the Advanced Smartphone award with its UltraPixel image sensor and Dr. Dre’s Beats Audio stereo speakers. On the other end of the spectrum, Huawei’s Ascend P6 won the Consumer Smartphone award for having decent hardware without the high price. The Social Media Phone title went to the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, not it’s bigger brother, as its small size yet powerful hardware makes it easy to juggle social media feeds on the go. And lastly, this year’s Tablet award was grabbed by the Sony Xperia Tablet Z for its impressive combination of style and power.

Not all the Mobile Device awards went to smartphones and tablets. The Harman Kardon Onyx portable speaker, which can pair with Android devices, was listed for the Mobile Audio award while the JVC HA-FXZ200 was cited for being the best Mobile Headphone.
