UK’s very own EE seems to be doing an Amazon as the company recently announced a new tablet for kids. This devices features 4G LTE connectivity, making it the first kid-friendly tablet in the world aimed at kids and their parents.

If Amazon has the Fire HD Kids Edition, EE has the ‘Robin’ tablet as its new rival in the UK. The Fire HD was recently made available in the UK region. The Robin 4G tablet will officially be shown off to the public this coming October 23. It will arrive complete with apps, videos, and games that kids will definitely enjoy and learn from. EE partnered with Hopster TV to provide more content.

The Robin features easy and efficient parental-controls. Parents can have peace of mind that their kids are not browsing or searching prohibited sites. The tablet is always safe to use and promises really fast mobile access courtesy of the 4G connectivity.

EE’s Robin tablet only features interactive, entertaining, and educational programs and apps for your kids. Device runs Kurio OS over Android so you know it’s really safe and definitely child-friendly. Tablet features a child-proof bumper while specs include a 7-inch display screen, 8GB built-in storage, 1GB RAM, microSD card slot, quad core processor, and a 2MP main camera.

You can get the Robin tablet from select retail stores this October 23. Online sales at EE Shop will begin on November. You can get this one for only £129.99 which is about $201. You can also avail of the tablet with no downpayment but with a monthly fee of £15 under a 2-year plan with Hopster TV access and 10GB of data.
