EA and Mythic announced Dungeon Keeper for Android back in August of 2013. At the time the game was expected to arrive in the Play Store during the winter months, however the initial availability was limited to a few markets. Well, flash forward till today and it looks like the release has gone global.

Coming by way of a recently issued press release, EA has announced the worldwide launch of Dungeon Keeper. The game brings support for Android 2.3.3 or later and is available for free. While this is a global release, EA has Dungeon Keeper available in more than a few different languages. These include English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Turkish, Russian, Japanese, and Korean as well as Simplified and Traditional Chinese.

For those not sure, but thinking the name sounds familiar. Dungeon Keeper is a throwback to the 90’s. It was said to have been “reimagined” for mobile platforms, but otherwise, players will be “challenged to master the Hand of Evil and build the ultimate underground lair to defend it from nefarious invaders who are bent on destroying their Dungeon Heart.”

“Keepers must summon an army of minions like Imps, Trolls, Bile Demons, and Warlocks as well as maximize their defenses to thwart invaders, using expertly-lain traps and dungeon designs. Players can dominate the leaderboards in player versus player and player versus environment combat, by attacking enemy dungeons and plundering resources.”

Aside from Dungeon Keeper, EA is no stranger to Android game releases. In fact, the EA game lineup ranges from the casual with Bejeweled Blitx and Tetris, to Need for Speed, Real Racing, Madden 25, FIFA14, The Sims and Plants vs. Zombies. Of course, we cannot forget the board game favorites such as Scrabble, Monopoly and The Game of Life.
