So Electronic Arts (EA) – probably having the best-known soccer (football, yes, but we digress) games in their arsenal – puts out another mobile game that focuses on the management part of the sport. More and more people are getting into the whole “how-do-you-run-a-giant-football-club” deal, and so football management games are definitely the logical answer to that need. FIFA Soccer: Prime Stars is still on soft launch, but it should break out globally soon.

FIFA Soccer: Prime Stars will be putting gamers in the manager’s seat of their teams, training players and winning matches. Speaking of teams, the five big European leagues are well-represented in the game – this includes the English Premier League, La Liga (Spain), Bundesliga (Germany), Serie A (Italy), and Ligue 1 (France). Players will start off with the current teams – and they are updated to the 2015-2016 rosters. You can eventually scout for other players that match the playing style you want. An interesting feature is that you can customize players with unique skills which can be earned by completing in-game challenges.

Of course, it’s not just all about the players. There’s planning formations, strategies, doing training, and scouting the opposition before games. It feels like a complete football management game, to say the least. There is a lot of wisdom in scouting and taking note of opposition teams’ formations and players before matches.

The game has been launched in Singapore and a few other territories for the soft launch. When the launch goes global, the game should be available to download for free with IAPs.
