With less than two weeks before the scheduled launch, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is being shown off once again this early. As usual, we’ll say nothing is certain and official yet but this one believed to be a dummy of a Galaxy S7 Gold variant appears like the real thing. And yes, it looks something like last year’s Samsung Galaxy S6.

The images show the front and back of the next premium flagship. The back actually reminds us a bit of the Galaxy Note 5 but with a slight curve as seen in an early illustration. The past weeks, we’ve been seeing all-black units as leaks except for that photo of what seems to be a gold S7 chassis. It also looks a lot like the first render shared by OnLeaks.

The pictured Galaxy phone may actually fit the image renders of the leaked Samsung Galaxy S7 casing. Even the camera module protrudes less as we speculated. The Galaxy S7 facade leaked last month is something that could be used for the smartphone except the front holes are found on the right. The images we saw before showed the holes on the left side part of the earpiece.

So far, here’s what we know about the specs of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S7: 5.1 inch screen, 2560 × 1440 pixel resolution, 32GB/64GB internal storage, 4GB RAM, 12MP rear camera, 5MP or 8MP front-facing camera, microSD card slot, or Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890 processor, and a 3000 mAh battery. We’ll learn more about #TheNextGalaxy at the Samsung Unpacked event this coming February 21.
