More often than not, Android users aren’t really satisfied with their device’s default contacts app. It seems like OEMs don’t really want to put much effort into making it as functional or as beautiful as other aspects of the smartphone. Good thing we can turn to 3rd party apps to help us have a better messaging and calling experience. Drupe is one of those, and in the latest update to the app, it now solves the previous problem of not having its own dialer.

If you’re not familiar with Drupe yet, it’s like a one-stop shop for all your messaging and communication needs. Just click on a contact, and you’ll be able to reach them from any platform that you want to use to communicate with them, whether it’s SMS, Facebook Messenger, Twitter, WhatsApp, etc. And it’s always on your home screen, wherever you are, through three floating dots that are relatively unobtrusive, and can be moved anywhere around the screen.

With the latest update to the app, Drupe finally has its own dialer which you can use like the default Android dialer. Just type in a number or contact name to make it easier to locate who you want to call. You can also now easily scroll through your contacts, instead of just the ones you favorite or mark as important. Some other minor improvements include the addition of WhatsApp calls, adding more than just one contact to your favorites list, having different number types like home, work, or mobile.

The app also now has even more nice themes and they’re free. You can update (or download, if you haven’t yet) the app from the Google Play Store.
