Last week multiple reports and a few pictures surfaced of what appeared to be a titanium or 'platinum' colored Motorola DROID RAZR M from Verizon Wireless with Blue accents rather than the typical Verizon Red. After it appeared on Best Buy's site it looks like Motorola has also officially confirmed the device, and it's available now.
Essentially what we have here is the exact same DROID RAZR M we've already reviewed (and loved) coming in another color from those guys at Motorola. This isn't the first time they've released another flavor of this device either. Initial leaks suggested a white model was in the works which ended up getting released along side the black flavor, then they've also released a Pink model for the lady in your life.
After hitting Best Buy last week without any details from either party we've received a few tips and can confirm Motorola's announced the smartphone last week. Interestingly enough they dropped a quick message over on the Motorola Blog, but that was the only details given regarding the limited edition smartphone.
For those interested, you'll get the same 4.3-inch qHD edge-to-edge display, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 8GB of storage. This neat little phone packs a 2,000 mAh battery and 4G LTE so should be plenty fast, yet last all day. Motorola states this 'limited edition' platinum color is in limited quantities but can be had for the same $49.99 price and a new 2-year contract from Best Buy locations. Enjoy, and get it while it's hot!
