In more DROID 2 news, it seems as if users may get the 2.3.15 update that the DROID X received that fixes many Exchange issues among other things. This update will bring Droid 2 users up to Droid X software versions.

A reader over at Droid-Life had contacted Motorola Customer Support asking if an update is coming soon, the answer received was a yes and that it has already been launched, suggesting that the user just waits for the update. Now Customer Support isn’t a 100% confirmation, they have been wrong before – many times actually. But keeping the Droid X and Droid 2 on the same software version would make sense.

“It [2.3.15] has been released. Let us just wait for the notification on the phone on how to download it.”

Has anyone received the push update? Let us know in the comment section below and we’ll keep you updated.
