Android fans looking for a way to get more content onto their smartphones like full-length movie and TV episodes now have a new option that has just landed. Sony Pictures Entertainment has announced that its Crackle streaming content service is now available on Android devices.

The app is able to stream full-length, unedited movies, TV shows, and the original series from Crackle directly to Android users. The service is particularly focused on action, comedy, crime, horror, thriller, and sci-fi. The app is offered as a free download and the free service gives access to Minisodes, which are TV shows condensed to a few minutes.

A premium service is also available for $4.99 monthly that will give access to the full-length TV and movie content with films from Columbia Pictures, Tri-Star, Screen Gems, Sony Pictures Classics, and others. Three month and six month payment options are also available. Crackle will work over WiFi and 3G networks.
