If it’s always been your dream to build your own comic book or fan convention, which of course will take a lot of money and effort but you don’t have the former and you’re not fond of the latter, then you can actually do it through a mobile game. Con Man the Game is based on the popular web series from comic-con fan favorites Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk. This time around, it’s you who will mount the best fan convention you can in this task management app now available for Android devices.

Geeky cons are all the rage now, and in this game, you get to build your own, whether it’s a sci-fi, horror, fantasy or hero-themed. But in this game, you get to do all the dirty work, sometimes literally. You get to set up booths, invite celebrities, hire security, squash cockroaches, clean toilets, fend off alien invasions, and all other fun things that can happen in a crazy convention. The game follows the usual rules of the task management type of games, only it should be more fun if cons are your type of thing.

This game is actually part of the Indiegogo campaign that the two creators started in order to fund their web series. It turned out to be the third-highest funded film on any crowdfunding platform, and so the game, along with a comic book, got funded as well. There are several cameos from well-known figures in geekdom, like Felicia Day, Nolan North, and even Joss Whedon.

You can download Con Man The Game from the Google Play Store for free, with in-app purchases of course. You don’t need to be familiar with the web series to play the game, but if you’d like to watch it, the first season is now up on Comic Con HQ.
