Gone are the days when your music players only had the ability to play the songs that are stored on your device. Now you have music streaming services where you don’t even need to have songs saved on your smartphone, tablet, or desktop. You also have apps like doubleTwist’s CloudPlayer that can play music stored on your cloud accounts. The latest update to this app brings support for Android Wear, Android Auto and AllPlay, all the better to have more options to control your music.

If you’re not familiar with CloudPlayer yet, it’s an app that can play both the actual songs on your device, as well as your music that’s stored on your most popular cloud apps like Dropbox, One Drive, and Google Drive. Version 1.0.9 of the app now brings you support for other platforms that can give you better control over where you want to playback your music. If you’re in a situation where controlling your music is more convenient on your wrist, then now you can do so through any smartwatch running on Android Wear.

If you’re driving and your vehicle is fitted out with Android Auto, then you can also use it to play your music using CloudPlayer. And with support for AllPlay, it also becomes the only music app that supports three streaming devices, including Chromecast and Airplay, out of the box. So this means you can stream your music to the recently released Chromecast Audio or AllPlay speakers, all through your cloud or local device.
