If you’ve noticed from previous articles, we always welcome news about accessories that will help keep our mobile devices juiced. Unless an OEM will magically discover a solution to smartphones’ and tablets’ battery problems, then we would have to remain dependent on things like power banks since we will almost always use our devices when on the go. A new Kickstarter campaign brings another inventive solution. Energysquare will let you charge multiple devices and you don’t need as many wires (in fact, just one).

Energysquare is made up of two basic elements. You have your charging pad which is made up of conductive squares in an insulating material. It has an embedded system so you can control each of the squares. The second element is a thin and adhesive sticker which you would need to plug and stick onto your mobile device. The two conductive dots will connect directly to your smartphone’s battery. When physical contact is made between the conductive dots and the conductive squares, then the charging begins.

It will charge your device at the same speed of your normal charger and as long as there is space on the pad, you can put as many devices as you want. It is compatible with any smartphone, regardless of platform. It is shatterproof and waterproof and does not emit any electromagnetic waves.

The campaign has reached more than twice its goal of €30,000 and there are still 21 days to go. If you want to support it and get your own EnergySquare, you can pledge €59 and that already includes 5 stickers. If you want more stickers, you just have to add €10 for 5 more. Estimated deliveries December 2016.
