There are a lot of NBA stars past and present that you would probably want to talk to on the phone, given the chance. But probably one of the most distinct voices we have ever heard is that of former Los Angeles Laker superstar Shaquille O’Neal. Now you’ll get the chance to hear him every day from your mobile device when you use your Waze as the navigation app has added a Shaq voice to celebrate the imminent 2016 NBA Playoffs.

Shaq may be such a random choice for the newest guest voice on Waze, but come on, didn’t you start imagining his voice giving you directions the minute you read our headline? Currently one of the NBA analysts on the TNT network, he is still pretty much involved in the game he used to dominate and so he seems to be a good choice to “help you get excited” as playoff season is almost upon us.

You’ll be hearing lines like “Don’t cause a Shaqcident” to warn you that there is a traffic jam or something and “Police reported ahead. Don’t be Shaqtin a fool!” when there is a chance of running into the police on your route. Aside from the usual turn left or turn right, you can expect a lot of Shaqisms along the way.

This will be available worldwide for a limited time only starting April 13, although they didn’t indicate until when it will last. Head on over to Menu → Settings → Sound → Voice Language → Shaquille O’Neal and enjoy having Shaq help you navigate the city.
