Samsung’s Galaxy Tab is set to hit the UK market on November 1 2010, and launch partner Carphone Warehouse has just kicked off pre-orders for the 7-inch Froyo slate.  They’ve priced the Galaxy Tab at £529.99 unlocked and SIM-free, or £499.99 on a 30 day rolling agreement with £10 for 1GB of data per month.

That’s not a huge discount – but then you’re not getting much of a contract obligation – but we wouldn’t be surprised to see various UK carriers experimenting with longer agreements and bigger chunks knocked off the upfront price of the tablet.  Amazon UK is currently listing the Galaxy Tab for £599.99, though we imagine that might change shortly once the retailer twigs Carphone Warehouses’ price.
