C Spire Wireless has announced they will be offering the Samsung Galaxy S5. For now the details are somewhat limited though. C Spire mentioned the handset would be coming in May, and so far, has yet to offer anything more specific. They have also yet to reveal anything related to price.

Having said that, we wouldn’t be surprised to see the handset arrive somewhere around the $200 mark. After all, that is what we’ve been seeing with the the other carriers. Along with the basics about the Galaxy S5 being available in May, they also have the option to trade your name and email for the promise of getting the latest information as it comes available.

Aside from C Spire, we’ve recently seen the Galaxy S5 come available with Verizon Wireless. Big Red opened pre-orders just last week, and to further tempt those considering a purchase — they opened it as a buy-one-get-one (BOGO) offering. AT&T, T-Mobile and US Cellular also have Galaxy S5 pre-orders available.

It seems C Spire took some additional time to make the Galaxy S5 availability announcement, not to mention, it looks like they will be getting the handset at least a few weeks after the other carriers, who should have it April 11th. While this last bit doesn’t seem like it will be affecting those who pick up a Galaxy S5 with C Spire, there was news of anti-theft features coming to the Verizon and US Cellular models.
