Angry Birds Star Wars Hoth update now available
Yesterday, we learned that Rovio was primed and ready to release the first major update to Angry Birds Star Wars. This new update adds a number of new levels set on the ice planet Hoth, along with a new character in the Princess Leia bird (who is really just Pink Bird all dressed up). Even better is the fact that this update is available right this minute.

Nexus 4 gets first nightly CyanogenMod 10.1 build
If you're using CyanogenMod and you've been lucky enough to get your hands on a Nexus 4, then you're in for a treat. The CyanogenMod team announced on Google Plus that they're rolling out the first Nexus 4 (mako) nightly build for CyanogenMod 10.1, which is based on Android 4.2. The team is doing this because they've seen Nexus users installing third party CyanogenMod 10.1 builds, so they thought they'd take advantage of the demand they've been seeing and begin releasing nightlies.

We all know that Google has some cash in its coffers to throw around, and today it's putting some of that money to use. The big G announced today that it has purchased Incentive Targeting, a company that aims to get coupons to customers who will actually use them. Details are still relatively slim, despite the fact that both companies have made statements about the acquisition.

Big time SMS spammers hit with massive fine
All of us hate getting spam text messages and calls, but unfortunately they're everywhere. It doesn't matter which platform you choose - Android, BlackBerry, iOS, Windows Phone - there's a decent chance you've had to deal with spam text messages before. Luckily, today we're seeing one European watchdog group do something about it, dropping a very large fine on two SMS spammers who have been very, very busy.

Hoth showed up so many times in video games that critics and fans alike began to grow tired of it quickly, so these days, we don't see the old ice planet show up as often. That's all set to change tomorrow, when Rovio releases the first update for Angry Birds Star Wars.
